SON SHINE

The sun doesn't shine 'til
After the twilight's dark.
A baby must learn to crawl
Before he can stand up and walk.

The flowers cannot grow
Before ground-quenching rain.
We cannot gain true victory without
Trials and Heart-wrenching pain.

Jesus endured merciless pain
While hanging upon the Cross.
Had He not suffered so,
We would be eternally lost.

God sent His only Son to
Show us the true way.
Now it is up to us to decide
How we live each day.

In the liberating shadow of the Cross
Or bound by darkness and sin,
Choose this day to open your
Heart and let the Son shine in.
